A passer of the future in McCarthy, and a A-, for the Bears.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Zinter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, J.J. McCarthy and all.
