The Falcons cashed the board's mistake on Tampa: C+.

The board owed the Falcons one, and it paid up: T.J. Tampa, the No. 51 name on the board, sitting there at the 74th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C+.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They are betting Cole proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

If Dallas Turner and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
