Best value of the weekend goes to the Chargers for Jones: B+.

Somebody in pick No. 253 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chargers sat still while Trente Jones, the No. 194 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
