The Patriots finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a A.

When a board-topper like Isaiah Davis slides to the Round 7 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not.

Whatever Michael Penix Jr. becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

They will need Jones to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Michael Penix Jr. and all.
