The Bengals went off the board in a big way for Braelon Allen, 40 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker. Chigoziem Okonkwo gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
