You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bills took Barryn Sorrell at No. 171, roughly 157 spots before his name belonged. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.

The Barton steal is the beam this whole class leans on. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with linebacker the one that mattered most.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
