You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Ravens did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

They will need Harrell to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

Getting Jones where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left interior defensive lineman open, and the grade is the bill.
