The Titans bet the future on Daniels. The board says D. It is the swing that defines the weekend: Solomon Byrd in Round 7, Pick 22, a good 31 spots before the room expected him.
Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.
The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Titans indulged a want in Abrams-Draine while a need in interior defensive lineman stayed open.
They banked enough surplus on Davis to cover a lot of smaller sins.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
