You can draft well and still miss the point. The Colts did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to wide receiver, which was the need that mattered most. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
Loveland has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The roster is better shaped than it was, with tight end chief among the fixes.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
