Grand theft in Round 7, Pick 33: the 49ers steal Brooks and grade out a D.

The 49ers did not so much draft Oluwafemi Oladejo as overpay for him, 38 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. However the rest shakes out, Brooks at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
