Draft Grade — Giants
Overall
C
ValueD-

Sanders is the Giants' new face under center. Grade: C. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Giants reached some 262 spots for Stone Handy, and value like that does not grow back. A weekend of give and take that grades a C.
That Frazier pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Shedeur Sanders gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.
Pick Analysis
Pick3
Rnd1
Shedeur Sanders
In slot 3 they get the face of the franchise at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick34
Rnd2
Jay Higgins
Value said wait; Jay Higgins in the 34th overall pick says they were not listening. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick65
Rnd3
Cobee Bryant
They left a pile of value on the table to take Cobee Bryant this early at pick 65. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick99
Rnd3
Stone Handy
They talked themselves into Stone Handy at pick No. 99, and the board did not agree. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick105
Rnd4
Antwane Wells Jr.
Antwane Wells Jr. in No. 105 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick154
Rnd5
Brashard Smith
Brashard Smith in the Round 5 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick219
Rnd7
Malachi Moore
Malachi Moore at the 219th overall pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick246
Rnd7
Miles Frazier
They barely believed it either: Miles Frazier still on the board at Round 7, Pick 30. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
