The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named tight end, a need the Commanders walked right past. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Every board in the league had Jones lower, and that gap is the story. Amos at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
