The Commanders treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick No. 204 on Tim Smith a full 84 spots early. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Landing Stutsman that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
