The Giants left with their quarterback, and a B- to match.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Giants spent their marquee pick on Cam Ward, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They will need Truss to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. However the rest shakes out, Thornton Jr. at that price is a win they earned.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

Quietly one of the better values of the day, Kevin Winston Jr. at the 105th pick. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

They took Damien Martinez at par in pick No. 154, which is nothing to complain about. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
