Good, not great, for the Ravens: B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Ravens walked out of the weekend still thin at cornerback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Daniels has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Tre Harris
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get a matchup problem out wide, even if it was a touch early.
Pick64 Rnd2 Rod Moore
The board had cheaper options than Rod Moore at No. 64, and it noticed. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick96 Rnd3 Wyatt Milum
They went early on Wyatt Milum in slot 96, and the value did not follow. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick128 Rnd4 J.J. Weaver
J.J. Weaver in pick No. 128 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It fills a real need, too.
Pick160 Rnd5 Jaishawn Barham
Jaishawn Barham at the Round 5 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick192 Rnd6 Jalon Daniels
They reached a country mile for Jalon Daniels at the 192nd overall pick, and the board is aghast. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick224 Rnd7 Jack Nelson
A tidy little value on Jack Nelson in the 224th pick, a step better than break-even. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
