You could see the war room lean forward. Jason Marshall Jr. at slot 242 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

They will need McLaughlin to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
