You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bears did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
