The Panthers let Neal fall and pounced. Final grade: B-.

Somebody in pick No. 145 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Panthers sat still while Devin Neal, the No. 84 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Every board in the league had Walker lower, and that gap is the story. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
