When a board-topper like Tahj Brooks slides to pick No. 229, you do not overthink it, and the Steelers did not.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Harmon lower, and that gap is the story. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
