There was a run on nobody at that position, and the 49ers started one anyway for Sai'vion Jones, 41 picks ahead of schedule.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The 49ers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
