Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Dolphins were there to profit. Mello Dotson, the No. 132 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 233.

Jaxson Dart gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Reaching for Dart left real value on the table behind him. With edge rusher and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on specialist is the choice that costs them.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
