Draft Grade — Rams

Good, not great, for the Rams: B-. Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jah Joyner at the 100th pick is 52 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Armand Membou
In Round 1, Pick 26 they get a cornerstone up front. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick90
Rnd3
Danny Stutsman
Danny Stutsman at No. 90 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick100
Rnd3
Jah Joyner
Jah Joyner at the 100th overall pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick126
Rnd4
Tyler Baron
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Tyler Baron well ahead of where he belonged. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick192
Rnd6
Corey Kiner
Corey Kiner at pick No. 192 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick203
Rnd6
Jordan Hancock
A tidy little value on Jordan Hancock in pick 203, a step better than break-even. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick204
Rnd6
Kobe Hudson
No edge and no loss on Kobe Hudson in slot 204; it is a wash and a sensible one. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
