ZachVT4 DRAFTING FOR THEVikings
Draft Grade — Vikings
Overall

The steal of the weekend belongs to the Vikings and Parrish: B. The rest of the league will want that one back. Jacob Parrish tumbling to the Vikings in pick No. 161 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
They will need Colby to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick Analysis
Pick24
Rnd1
Mykel Williams
A reasonable price with a little left over, Mykel Williams in pick 24. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick97
Rnd3
Cam Skattebo
They paid sticker price for Cam Skattebo in the 97th pick, and that is fine. It fills a real need, too.
Pick140
Rnd5
Connor Colby
They talked themselves into Connor Colby at the 140th overall pick, and the board did not agree. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick161
Rnd5
Jacob Parrish
Jacob Parrish at slot 161 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
