Where Is Best Current Value Remaining for Betting the 2022 NFL Draft?

Worry you missed out on betting NFL Draft props with hours to go? There's still plenty of value left on the board for you to wager on!

Should bettors jump on the odds early in the NFL Draft? Or wait to pounce later when more information gets leaked?

Both strategies can be used effectively when targeting NFL Draft props across sportsbooks. While sharp bettors who notice an edge earlier on have a distinct advantage, taking advantage of zagging when public bettors zig can also play out positively.

With the NFL Draft rapidly approaching, several bets still remain on the board over at WynnBET Sportsbook, but with odds constantly changing and money moving fast, is there any value still left over?

The answer, unequivically, is yes.

BetSided reached out to WynnBET trader John Manica to gauge the current state of the betting market; asking where bettors can still find a number that isn't overly juiced or additionally, moved significantly since opening.

“The places that have up some of the more obscure players over/under round totals," says Manica.

"If you really dig into team needs and find a guy a team is super high on, you may be able to give yourself a handful of picks worth of an edge on some guys. For example, (Penn State wide receiver) Jahan Dotson OVER 30.5 -110. He’s not a household name to most people paying attention to the draft but could be a prize to some teams at the bottom of the first round. Maybe you can find some news like that and potentially find a gem.”

Total Number of Wide Receivers Drafted in Round 1

  • OVER 6.5 (-120)
  • UNDER 6.5 (+100)

Dotson could end up being the deciding factor as to whether the OVER hits in this year's first round. BetSided's Peter Dewey also discussed the impact of this year's wide receiver class with oddsmakers from WynnBET earlier today, citing how deep this year's crop of talent is.

Manica also discussed how their initial number of 5.5 skyrocketed up to 6.5 very quickly after being bet up by the sharps.

We'll see whether or not Dotson ends up being the difference maker. As someone holding an UNDER 6.5 wide receivers in the first round ticket, I'm hoping the speedy Nittany Lion receiver holds off until Day 2, perhaps going to the Chicago Bears with their first overall selection.
