The Bears fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

The Bears spent real capital to be 32 picks early on Barion Brown, and the board is going to hold them to it. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The Johnson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

It is not that Sabb is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
