The Saints got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D+.

The Aiden Fisher pick is the one that will follow the Saints into the fall. They took him 31 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Fitzgerald.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
