The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Wetjen: B+.

Call it larceny. Kaden Wetjen sat on the board until pick 246, and the Bears did not need to be asked twice. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They will need Trost to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
