Larceny in pick No. 70 lands the Browns a A-, Ponds and all.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Browns were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Reaching for Harris left real value on the table behind him.

In the end it comes back to Carnell Tate, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
