The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Cowboys reached some 49 spots for Daevin Hobbs, and value like that does not grow back. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
