The Bears clearly saw something nobody else did in Zach Rice, taking him 157 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

However the rest shakes out, Roberts at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.

On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.
