Call it larceny. Bryce Lance sat on the board until pick No. 223, and the Commanders did not need to be asked twice. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They will need Pregnon to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
