The Bears did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Bears did not so much draft Evan Tengesdahl as overpay for him, 50 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Roberts falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
