FutureB-
The Cowboys found their guy under center in Arnold: D. They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Trey Holly, 260 picks early at the Round 1 slot.
The Brailsford steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They have staked the next five years on Jackson Arnold, which is the only story that really matters here. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.
The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and wide receiver is still a hole.
Pick Analysis
Pick13
Rnd1
Jackson Arnold
In the 13th pick they get their quarterback of the future, though the board says they badly overpaid. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick21
Rnd1
Trey Holly
In pick No. 21 they get a lead back with juice, a steep price for the projection. A real need, handled.
Pick217
Rnd7
Demond Claiborne
Steal is underselling it; Demond Claiborne at the 217th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The roster fit checks out.
Pick228
Rnd7
Parker Brailsford
They barely believed it either: Parker Brailsford still on the board at slot 228. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
