Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Saints spent the Round 5 slot on Adepoju Adebawore, a name the board had a full 45 spots lower. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
