The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They are betting Logue proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
