For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Chargers walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They are betting Jackson Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.
