You can hear the double-takes from here. The Commanders took Taylen Green at No. 147, roughly 38 spots before his name belonged. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. Landing Slaughter that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Bottom line, with Arvell Reese leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
