Art DRAFTING FOR THEBuccaneers
Draft Grade — Buccaneers

Good, not great, for the Buccaneers: B-. You can hear the double-takes from here. The Buccaneers took Max Llewellyn at pick No. 116, roughly 30 spots before his name belonged. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Landing Allen that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick15
Rnd1
Cashius Howell
In pick No. 15 they get a double-digit-sack hope, though they paid up to get him. A real need, handled.
Pick46
Rnd2
CJ Allen
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing CJ Allen in No. 46. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick77
Rnd3
Max Klare
Max Klare in the Round 3 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick116
Rnd4
Max Llewellyn
They talked themselves into Max Llewellyn at the 116th pick, and the board did not agree. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
