A sensible, unshowy class lands the Cardinals a B+.

The Cardinals clearly saw something nobody else did in Diego Pavia, taking him 119 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

That is a tight end worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Lee III pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want.

The Cardinals paired the rookies with proven help, Tyler Smith leading the way.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
