There is reaching, and then there is Tyreak Sapp at pick 57. The Bears jumped the board by 70 and dared it to prove them wrong. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Getting Mauigoa where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
