The Bears lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 48 spots for Zane Durant, and value like that does not grow back. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

On value alone, Hill Jr. makes the weekend a net positive. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
