Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Carson Steele at Round 4, Pick 3 is 132 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
