You build a draft on nights like this. Olaivavega Ioane had no business being available in the 71st overall pick, and the Raiders did the only sane thing and turned in the card. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Reaching for Goosby left real value on the table behind him. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
