A sensible, unshowy class lands the Giants a B-.

The Isaiah Jatta pick is the one that will follow the Giants into the fall. They took him 53 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

On value alone, Boettcher makes the weekend a net positive. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
