The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Reaching for Johnson Jr. left real value on the table behind him. The Sturdivant pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
