Slaughter should have been long gone. The Commanders pounced, and earned a A-.

Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Commanders came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Reaching for Jatta left real value on the table behind him. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
