Call it larceny. Eli Stowers sat on the board until slot 71, and the Commanders did not need to be asked twice.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Coogan lower, and that gap is the story.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
