The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Singleton Jr.: D.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 26 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Eric Singleton Jr., the No. 75 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, running back very much included.
