The board owed the Cowboys one, and it paid up: Kamari Ramsey, the No. 53 name on the board, sitting there at No. 102 like a gift left on the doorstep. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The Cowboys indulged a want in Ramsey while a need in offensive lineman and running back stayed open. A whole weekend of picks and offensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Reaching for Alexander left real value on the table behind him.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
