Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Akheem Mesidor at the Round 7 slot is 71 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

Drew Allar is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Ramsey steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

The Dolphins indulged a want in Nwokobia while a need in interior defensive lineman stayed open. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
